“I’m a first-generation farmer, but this calling has lived in my bloodline for ages.”
FoFana Farms is the fulfillment of a quiet dream that’s lived in my spirit for years — a dream shaped by family stories, cultural pride, and a deep desire to return to the land with purpose. Though I didn’t grow up farming, I’ve committed time to learning by volunteering on farms, getting my hands in the soil, and listening to those who’ve come before me. The values of hard work, care for the earth, and feeding your people were always and still is present.
With roots in Sierra Leone and the American South, I carry a legacy of resilience and remembrance. FoFana Farms is where that legacy takes shape — through growing culturally meaningful crops, creating access to good food, and building a space where healing and community thrive.
This farm is about more than produce. It’s about reclaiming space. Building something lasting. And honoring those who came before by planting something new.
